"Good Shopping Day" Executive Committee

--Large-scale sales and campaigns will be launched, including the cross-company campaign "Amazing!! Speed ​​Lottery," where customers can win luxurious prizes worth a total of approximately 300 million yen.--

The "Good Shopping Day" Executive Committee, which includes 39 companies (※1) (78 brands) from a variety of fields, including distribution retailers, e-commerce operators, and food and beverage operators, will hold the "Good Shopping Day" "Shopping Festival" from Tuesday, October 18th to Wednesday, November 30th, 2016, in which large-scale sales and campaigns will be rolled out at each store and service, both physical and online, transcending corporate boundaries.
In addition, a TV commercial promoting the appeal of "Good Shopping Day" called "Good Shopping Day: Flip and Win" will begin airing on Tuesday, October 18th.

■About "Good Shopping Day"
In October 2015, five companies - Yahoo Japan Corporation, FamilyMart Co., Ltd., SoftBank Corp., TSUTAYA Co., Ltd., and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. - joined forces to designate November 11th as "Good (11) Shopping Day" in the hopes of giving customers the joy of making a good purchase and sharing the joy of shopping with as many people as possible.
By holding large-scale sales and cross-company campaigns during the period, the "Good Shopping Day" Executive Committee hopes to create an environment in which the joy of "good shopping" will spread throughout Japan, both in real life and online, and to contribute to improving the consumer mindset in the country.

This year's "Good Shopping Day" has expanded significantly in scale from last year's five companies to 39 companies.
Last year (2015), Japan's largest portal site Yahoo! JAPAN, major convenience store chain FamilyMart, mobile phone service provider SoftBank, entertainment shop TSUTAYA, and T Point Japan teamed up to bring "Good Shopping Day" to approximately 127 million people in Japan, including T-POINT users.
This year marks the second time the event has been held, and it has expanded significantly in scale from last year's five companies to 39 companies (78 brands). Under the theme of "good shopping," where customers can get great deals on everything and find what they want, participating companies will be holding large-scale sales campaigns, including a T-POINT return campaign.
Additionally, this year's highlight project is the "Participating Companies Cross-Campaign," where visitors can enter a no-lose lottery by simply visiting a special website, regardless of whether they have purchased a product or not, and win luxurious prizes worth a total of approximately 300 million yen, such as "11.11 million T-POINT" and "Mercedes-Benz A-Class," with different prizes available each day. We want to promote "good shopping" in Japan by creating a system that anyone can enjoy.
