-TSUTAYA fully supports the best band (Grand Ikuten King)-
TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO: Kazuo Nakanishi / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), which operates 1,478 TSUTAYA stores nationwide, and BS-TBS Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Hoshino Makoto / hereinafter referred to as "BS-TBS") will begin broadcasting a new program to discover the next generation of new bands, "Go, Band Heaven!!" (commonly known as "Ikuten"), from 11:30 PM on Friday, November 4th.
On "Ikuten," bands compete in a battle to win within the show, and the band that wins three weeks in a row will be awarded the title of "Ikuten King."The band that is ultimately selected as the "Grand Ikuten King" will receive a one-year boost at TSUTAYA stores nationwide, and TSUTAYA will give them all the support they need, including appearances at music events hosted by TSUTAYA and participation in a TSUTAROCK compilation album. The program MC will be officially announced soon, so please look forward to it.

■About "Let's go, Band Heaven!!"
Various bands, both self-nominated and recommended by others, including bands representing their respective regions confidently recommended by TSUTAYA's 10 regional companies across the country, bands that applied through the music SNS app nana, and bands recommended by the program, will battle it out every week, and the band that wins three weeks will be crowned the "Ikuten King."
The final "Grand Ikuten King" was decided from among the previous "Ikuten King" bands formed up until March 2017. The band that is crowned "Grand Ikuten King" will receive 1 million T-POINT from TSUTAYA and will receive a full support for the band for one year.
There are major groups that call themselves a band even though they only have two members: a vocalist and a drummer, and there are also artists who perform under the name of a band even though they are just one member. "Ikuten" will discover the next generation of star bands, regardless of the type of band they are.

After the program on BS-TBS ends, it will be streamed on YouTube.
