■What is "cinemabird (mobile cinema)"?
Movie theaters are disappearing all over Japan, including on small islands. There are areas where movie theaters have disappeared due to earthquakes and other disasters. Children grow up without ever having the experience of theater. Adults no longer watch movies in theaters. Cinema bird is a project that aims to convey to local people the importance of sharing emotions in the same space by delivering a festival-like experience of film and live performances as freely as a bird.
