Welcia Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mizuno Hideharu; hereinafter "Welcia HD") and CCC Marketing Co., Ltd.(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Noburu Takeda; hereinafter "CCC Marketing") are pleased to announce that they have entered into a joint venture agreement and established a new company jointly funded by the two companies on November 1, 2016.

1. Background and purpose of establishing the new company
In today's rapidly aging society with a declining birthrate, Welcia HD and CCC Marketing will utilize the business resources and know-how of both companies to grasp the diverse lifestyles and needs of consumers and fulfill Welcia HD's corporate philosophy of "providing our customers with a rich social life and healthy lifestyles."In order to expand our stores based on this philosophy, we have decided to establish a new company with marketing as its business foundation. Going forward, we will maximize the synergy between the two companies and aim to expand the Welcia HD Group's customer base and sales through the new company.
