--Let's look back at this year's most talked-about works! Stamp rally campaign running from November 4th to January 31st--
TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO:Kazuo Nakanishi / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), which operates 1,478 TSUTAYA stores nationwide, is holding the AniTsuta Festival from Friday, November 4, 2016 to Tuesday, January 31, 2017, featuring a selection of popular anime films, with the aim of allowing families to enjoy this year's most talked-about films.

One of the most talked about films released in theaters this year is "Your Name," which broke the top 10 box office rankings of all time. ' and 'Shin Godzilla', directed by Hideaki Anno, director of 'Neon Genesis Evangelion', attracted attention, but 2016 was also a strong year for anime movies, with anime works such as 'Zootopia' and 'Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare' making it into the top 100 of all-time box office revenues. At TSUTAYA, we hope that our customers will enjoy looking back on past anime films and the popular anime films of 2016 with their families and friends over the New Year holidays. Additionally, for those who rent any of the five films that became a hot topic when they were released in theaters, such as "Crayon Shin-chan: Fast Asleep! Dreamy World Great Assault," which became available for rental over the weekend, and "Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare," which topped the monthly anime movie rankings (according to TSUTAYA research for October 2016) after the film became available for rental, they will receive an original TSUTAYA sticker for each film on a first-come, first-served basis. What's more, we are currently running a stamp rally campaign where you can collect one stamp for every eligible kids', anime, or special effects film you rent over the course of three months, and if you collect a total of 10 stamps, you can enter to win a share of luxurious prizes and 1 million T-POINT (see next page for details).
This year, animated films have been popular with many people as entertainment that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. For those who missed the theatrical release or who would like to watch them again, we are proposing a movie-going experience where you can enjoy anime at home over the New Year holidays.

The 24th Crayon Shin-chan movie was released nationwide on April 16th at Toho theaters!
The director is Wataru Takahashi, who directed "Gatchinko! Robot Dad's Counterattack."
Gekidan Hitori, who is also active as a creator, co-wrote the script with director Takahashi, and for the first time in the series, the film depicts the bond between a mother and her child with the theme of "dreams"!
