Nakameguro TSUTAYA BOOKS, operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as CCC), opened in front of Nakameguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line on November 22, 2016.

Nakameguro TSUTAYA BOOKS is located in Nakameguro Koukashita, a newly developed underpass space around Nakameguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, just after exiting the ticket gate and across the old Yamate-dori Street. This small yet powerful BOOK&CAFE aims to be "Nakameguro's creative engine," stocking books, magazines, stationery, and other items that stimulate the intellectual imagination of those who live and visit Nakameguro.
The store also has a Starbucks, a work counter where you can read or work with a cup of coffee, a cafe space where you can chat with friends, a lounge where events are held, and it's a convenient place to meet up.

Nakameguro TSUTAYA BOOKS Features

1) The store is divided into four unique zones.
The "Meet" zone is located at the entrance closest to the station. Starbucks' standing counter is a convenient place to meet up, and it even has a USB port so you can charge your smartphone while you wait for your friend. The design of the sofa seat inside the bookshelf is also unique.
In the "Talk" zone, where books on topics such as "lifestyle" and "food" are lined up, you can enjoy Chicago's legendary craft beer "GOOSE ISLAND" and rare wines from "DISEL FARM."
The "Work" zone has counter seats where you can work while sipping coffee, and the counter is fully equipped with power outlets. Surrounded by books on work style, design, and art, it inspires creative work.
A number of workshops and talk events will be held in the carpeted "Share" zone.
