--A lineup of 30 SBS Korean dramas, from popular hits such as "Stairway to Heaven," "Beautiful Days," and "You're Beautiful" to classic classics--

TSUTAYA TV, a video streaming service operated by TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO: Kazuo Nakanishi / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), will begin streaming 30 classic hits and popular works from SBS, the Korean terrestrial TV station that sparked the original Korean wave boom, from Thursday, December 1, 2016, in addition to the approximately 80 Korean dramas that are already available for a monthly flat-rate unlimited streaming plan of 933 yen (excluding tax). In response to the expectations of Korean drama fans, the service will begin streaming 30 classic hits and popular works from SBS, the Korean terrestrial TV station that sparked the original Korean wave boom, from Thursday, December 1, 2016. In addition, to commemorate this occasion, we will also be launching the "SBS x TSUTAYA TV Korean Drama Campaign."

The 30 titles available for streaming from December 1st include hit dramas that all recorded high viewership ratings, such as "Stairway to Heaven" starring Kwon Sang-woo, which sparked the Korean drama boom and reached number one on TSUTAYA's rental rankings in 2005, "Star's Lover" starring Choi Ji-woo, and "Beautiful Days," which co-stars a star-studded cast including Lee Byung-hun, as well as many classic Korean dramas, such as the super-hit romantic comedy "You're Beautiful," which reached number one on TSUTAYA's rental rankings in 2010 and sparked the second Korean wave boom, and the hotly-anticipated "Doctor Stranger," starring the currently hottest actor Lee Jong-suk.

In addition, to commemorate the expanded distribution of Korean dramas, we will also be holding the "SBS x TSUTAYA TV Korean Drama Campaign."We will also be launching a luxurious campaign in which a total of 28 people will be selected by lottery to win a trip to Korea, luxurious prizes, and TSUTAYA Asia Books.
