Salesforce.com and CCC Marketing reach basic agreement on business partnership aimed at realizing one-to-one marketing

Salesforce.com, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Shinichi Koide; hereinafter referred to as "Salesforce"), provider of a customer success platform and the world's leading CRM, and CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Noburu Takeda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC Marketing"), a subsidiary of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. that engages in database marketing, today agreed to a business partnership aimed at realizing one-to-one marketing.

The background to the agreement between the two companies is the belief that combining Salesforce.com's extensive track record as a leader in digital marketing in Japan with CCC Marketing's diverse lifestyle data spanning both the real world and the online world, as well as its extensive track record in database marketing for retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and other businesses, will lead to support for corporate marketing activities.

Salesforce.com offers the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a marketing platform that enables companies to create the optimal customer journey for each individual customer by delivering the right content to the right people at the right time through the right channel. Meanwhile, CCC Marketing is proposing new lifestyles to the world through database marketing centered on "T-POINT," Japan's largest shared points service, which is used by over 60 million people, equivalent to one in two people in Japan*, and has alliance partners with 157 companies and over 560,000 stores, while ensuring the safety and accuracy of data.

Salesforce.com and CCC Marketing will be discussing the launch of a new marketing service next spring that will combine corporate data managed on Marketing Cloud with lifestyle data held by CCC Marketing. With this new marketing service, the two companies aim to further improve the accuracy of corporate CRM and support effective one-to-one marketing, enabling corporate marketers to understand their customers' preferences and consumption trends and then provide the most appropriate content at the optimal time using a variety of channels, including their own email, apps, owned media such as LINE, advertising, CCC Marketing's POS coupons, direct mail, and email.

In addition to this agreement, Salesforce.com and CCC Marketing will also explore new collaborations that combine the business resources and assets of both companies, with the aim of solving various marketing challenges faced by companies.
