Culture Entertainment Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as CE), a CCC Group company that operates entertainment businesses such as the planning and production of movies, music, and publishing, and TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, are holding "TSUTAYA SPECIAL Preview Screenings" in an attempt to unearth films that have been talked about overseas but have not been released in Japan, and bring them to movie fans who have been eagerly awaiting their screenings, allowing them to enjoy the films on the big screen. In addition, after the preview screening, the film will be available at TSUTAYA stores nationwide, allowing us to offer these carefully selected masterpieces to even more movie fans. In addition, to commemorate the "TSUTAYA SPECIAL Preview Screening," we will also be running a campaign where you can win T-POINT.

The first film to be screened at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on Thursday, January 19, 2017 will be the moving success story "The Eagle" (released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Japan Co., Ltd.), produced by Matthew Vaughn of "Kingsman" and starring up-and-coming actor Taron Egerton, who made waves in that film, and Hugh Jackman of "X-Men."To commemorate the first event, we will also be holding an event with guests after the screening.

The next film to be screened on Thursday, February 2, 2017 will be "Joy" (same as above), which caused a stir when Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for Best Actress at the 88th Academy Awards. From now on, we will continue to hold "TSUTAYA SPECIAL Preview Screenings" where we will screen recommended films that are unique to TSUTAYA.

Between Thursday, December 15, 2016 and Friday, February 3, 2017, T members will watch the trailers for the two films eligible for entry on the official website and vote for a recommendation for the film they would like to see.
