TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director, President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), which operates 812 bookstores nationwide, has been expanding its services of "Airbook" and "TSUTAYA Digital Benefits" as a new reading experience service that combines paper and digital books since 2014 through a strategic business partnership with BookLive Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director, President and COO: Awano Tadashi / hereinafter referred to as "BookLive").
We are pleased to announce that 29 new books and magazines have been added to the Airbook service, bringing the total to 532 titles.

TSUTAYA's digital book service "Airbook" is a service that allows you to purchase eligible magazines and books at participating TSUTAYA stores nationwide by presenting your T-Card, and the digital version of the purchased magazine or book will be automatically downloaded to your BookLive! bookshelf.

In response to many customer requests, 29 titles have been added, mainly women's magazine titles, such as "and GIRL" (M-ON Entertainment), "Biteki" and "CanCam" (Shogakukan), and "CREA" (Bungeishunju). 1airbook.jpg
Even if magazines are difficult to carry around, this is a convenient service that allows you to easily check your outfits while shopping, find gourmet and cosmetic information, and more using the digital version when you're out and about.
In addition, new travel books have been added: "Travel Notebook" and "Stroll Master" (Kokotsu Shimbunsha). Before you leave, you can carefully plan your trip using the paper book, and then browse the digital version when you're at your destination. You can enjoy the different charms of both paper and digital.
In addition to magazines, the popular book "SB Shinsho" (SB Creative) has been extended until the June 2017 issue, and "Berry's Bunko" (Starts Publishing) has been extended until the end of May 2017, and the number of eligible titles is increasing rapidly.

Airbook Service Features

Feature 2: Registration is only required the first time! After that, when you purchase a paper book by presenting your T-Card, the digital version will automatically be added to your bookshelf!
