TSUTAYA Co., Ltd., which plans various lifestyle proposals through entertainment, will commemorate the release of the "Want to Watch a Dramatic Movie?" special feature in the March issue (on sale January 20th) of Figaro Japon, a magazine published by CCC Media House Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CCC Media House), by holding a special talk event at TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI, "What You Want to See Now are Movies About Strong Women! - Women's Dramatic Cinema Night," and by launching a video corner linked to the special feature at seven TSUTAYA stores for a limited time starting Friday, January 20th. (*The period varies depending on the store.)

In line with the special theme of the March issue of Figaro Japon, "Want to watch a dramatic movie?", the magazine is promoting the title "Real and strong! Inspiring women's movies. "You have to get to know the film industry's darling, Xavier Dolan!" "A collection of masterpieces of LGBT films that are sure to move you. Based on these three themes, Figaro Japon will be displaying films recommended by the group in a special corner.

■ "What I want to see now is a movie about strong women! ~Women's Dramatic Cinema Night~"
To commemorate the release of the March issue of "Figaro Japon" and the launch of a related corner, "TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI" will be holding "What you want to see now are movies about strong women! ~Women's Dramatic Cinema Night~".

The event will feature manga artist and columnist Nemiko Shinsan, who has written many columns about movies, and Takebe Yumiko, president and CEO of Kino Films, who is the producer of films such as "The Sheltered Son's Love," "The Mourner," and "Farewell to Jin-u: Kamora Village." They will also have a lively discussion with Morita Masami, deputy editor-in-chief of Figaro and the number one movie enthusiast in the editorial department, who was in charge of the film special feature, on the theme of "Movies about women who live noble, strong lives."
