- To celebrate the release of "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale"! -

TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), a CCC Group company that operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, and Culture Entertainment Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "CE"), which operates entertainment businesses such as the planning and production of movies, music, and publishing, will begin issuing the "T Card (Sword Art Online design)" at TSUTAYA stores nationwide from Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Additionally, advance orders will begin today on the TSUTAYA website.

"Sword Art Online" is a hugely popular novel that was released in April 2009 by KADOKAWA Corporation's ASCII Media Works Dengeki Bunko, and has sold a total of 19 million copies worldwide. This time, to commemorate the release of "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale," which features an all-new story written by the original author, Reki Kawahara, on February 18, 2017, a collaboration with T Card has been realized.

The original designs were created especially for this occasion, featuring the main characters Kirito and Asuna, as well as Yuna, who plays an important role in "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale."Original merchandise can be pre-ordered exclusively by T members who have issued a T card as part of this collaboration. We also have a campaign where you can apply for great prizes such as merchandise signed by the cast.

Starting Saturday, February 4, 2017, some TSUTAYA stores will be broadcasting an in-store announcement featuring Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (voice of Kirito) and Haruka Tomatsu (voice of Asuna) introducing the "T Card (Sword Art Online design)."

Through the character-designed T-Card, TSUTAYA and CE will offer original merchandise and other items, and will propose exciting experiences that will broaden customers' enjoyment, from the thrill of meeting new people to introducing their favorite products.
