T-Money Corporation (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koichi Hashimoto; hereinafter referred to as "T-Money") will launch an auto-charge and credit charge service in late March 2017, which will allow users to charge their electronic money "T-Money" by debiting their credit card.

T-Money is a prepaid electronic money service that adds electronic money functionality to the T-Card. No special procedures are required, and cash can be loaded directly onto the T Card you currently own. Since the service began, it has been patronized by many customers because it allows you to use shared points and electronic money with just one T Card.

The newly launched service will offer two types of services: "Auto Charge," which automatically charges T Money when the balance falls below a predetermined amount set by the customer, and "Credit Charge," which allows customers to charge their card via the web at any time they like. This means that in addition to the traditional cash top-up method at stores, customers can now top up their T-Money cards with credit cards, making it even more convenient to use without worrying about their balance.

T-Money currently provides services at approximately 16,000 stores nationwide, including FamilyMart, TSUTAYA, Welcia Group, Tobu Store, and Drug Eleven. With the launch of the auto-charge and credit charge services, we aim to further expand use at T-Money member stores, as well as expand T-Money membership to various industries that have not previously accepted T-Money, including e-commerce transactions.
