- The first in the Shinkin bank industry to offer the "T Points" service -

We are pleased to announce that Kono Shinkin Bank (Head Office: Hōsu-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture; Chairman: Kazuo Suma; hereinafter referred to as "Kono Shinkin Bank") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") have entered into a business partnership for point services.

Kono Shinkin Bank is a community-based credit union in Ishikawa Prefecture that provides customer-focused "business support" and community-focused "community services." Through a partnership with T Point Japan, Kono Shinkin Bank will be introducing the T Point service to the financial products it handles from May 1, 2017. Additionally, Kono Shinkin Bank will utilize T-Point Japan's extensive database to enhance its marketing efforts.

In advance of the introduction of the T Point service, Kono Shinkin Bank, together with APLUS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "APLUS"), a consolidated subsidiary of APLUS Financial Co., Ltd. that operates shopping credit, card and payment businesses, has begun accepting applications and issuing "T Card Plus" cards, which allow users to accumulate and use "T Points," from July 27, 2016, to those who have a payroll transfer contract with Kono Shinkin Bank or who are applying for a new payroll transfer contract [persons aged 18 or older (excluding high school students)].
