- Aiming to build the largest common platform between Japan and Taiwan -

T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura) has concluded a T Point Program Agreement with Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CCC"), a Far Eastern Group company, Ding Ding Integrated Marketing Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "DDIM"), following the basic agreement concluded in October 2016 between DDIM and CCC. In line with this, we will begin offering the T Point service to Taiwanese visitors to Japan from June 8, 2017.

DDIM provides the common point service "HAPPY GO" in Taiwan. "HAPPY GO" is one of the largest common point services in Taiwan, with over 14 million cards issued, and approximately one in two people in Taiwan is a (HAPPY GO) member. This initiative is a service aimed at Taiwanese visitors to Japan. By presenting the "HAPPY GO T Card," which is distributed at department stores in Taiwan such as Pacific SOGO Department Store, Far Eastern Department Store, and The Mall, at T Point partner stores nationwide in Japan such as FamilyMart, Gusto, Welcia, and Mitsukoshi Isetan, visitors can earn T Points based on the amount of their purchases. The T points you earn will be automatically converted into HAPPY GO points*1, which can be used at over 20,000 HAPPY GO partner stores in Taiwan.

Through this initiative, T Point Japan, CCC, and DDIM aim to build the largest common platform between Japan and Taiwan. In addition, we will work to provide sales promotion infrastructure and marketing support to T-Point affiliated companies and partner companies in Japan in response to expanding inbound consumption.

*1 The exchange rate is 10 T Points = 6 HAPPY GO Points. Customers will be charged 10% of the accumulated T Points as an automatic exchange fee.
