Drugstore "Fuku Yakuhin" to gradually start T-POINT service from July

Fuku Yakuhin Co., Ltd. (Head office: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasuaki Tanaka; hereinafter referred to as "Fuku Yakuhin"), which operates the drug stores "Fuku Yakuhin" and "Sankyu Pharmacy" in Okinawa, and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan"), which operates the shared points service "T-POINT", will begin the T-POINT service at all 27 "Fuku Yakuhin" and "Sankyu Pharmacy" drug stores from July 3, 2017.

By completely switching from the traditional Fuku Yakuhin Points system to T-POINT, Fuku Yakuhin will be able to offer a points service that can be used at any of the 1,224 T-POINT participating stores in Okinawa Prefecture. Going forward, the company will implement new recommendation measures to increase usage among existing members, and will also implement in-store promotional measures aimed at new customers, with the hope of attracting new users from the 830,000 T-CARD members, which account for 58.4% of Okinawa's population.

Through this service partnership, Fuku Yakuhin and T Point Japan aim to further increase awareness and usage of T-POINT within Okinawa.

[Summary of T-POINT services at "Fuku Yakuhin" and "Sankyu Pharmacy"]
■ Service launch date: Scheduled to begin on Monday, July 3, 2017
*Points awarded to Fuku Yakuhin Cards will end on Monday, June 5, 2017.
*Use of points accumulated on the Fuku Yakuhin Card will end at the close of business on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at each store.
■ Participating stores: "Fuku Yakuhin" and "Sankyu Pharmacy" - 27 stores in total
■ Target products: Products sold at "Fuku Yakuhin" and "Sankyu Pharmacy"
*Points are not awarded for prescriptions.
*Some items, such as tobacco, are excluded.
■ T-POINT award rate: 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
■ T-POINT usage rate: 1 point = 1 yen
■ T-CARD issuance: For customers who do not have a T-CARD, a T-CARD will be issued at the store.
