TSUTAYA TV, a video streaming service operated by TSUTAYA Co., Ltd., will announce its viewing rankings for the first half of 2017.
*Ranked in order of the number of viewers between January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017

The top spot in the overall ranking went to "Prison Break Season 5," the show that led the boom in overseas TV dramas in the past. In recent years, Japanese films such as "Shin Godzilla" and "Ushijima the Loan Shark: The Final" have also been doing well. In the foreign film division, sequels to popular series, including the new Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, performed well.

The top spot on the foreign drama rankings went to "Prison Break Season 5," which was achieved thanks to foreign drama fans being able to enjoy the early release of the series prior to its DVD release. In the Asian drama rankings, the romantic comedy drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," which tells the story of a heroine who travels back in time to the Goryeo royal family, which is full of handsome men, took first place.
