Shimachu to gradually launch T-Point service from September 5th

- Earn and use T points at all 59 Shimachu and Holmes stores! -

Shimachu Co., Ltd. (Head office: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; President and CEO: Yamashita Sikio), which operates 59 furniture and home improvement complexes mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and COO: Kitamura Kazuhiko), signed a points program agreement in January 2017 and will begin rolling out the T Point service at Shimachu and Holmes furniture and home improvement stores operated by Shimachu from September 5, 2017.

With the launch of this service, customers with T Cards will be able to earn 1 T Point for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent at Shimachu and Holmes, and can use the accumulated T Points for shopping at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen.

With the introduction of the T Point service, Shimachu and T Point Japan will aim to understand the needs of Shimachu customers and strengthen their product lineup and services, including daily necessities and furniture, to suit each customer segment. We will also work on database marketing, such as optimizing sales promotion activities, analyzing trade areas when opening new stores, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) based on customer usage patterns.

Shimachu and T Point Japan will provide customers in the areas where Shimachu has stores with services that allow them to enjoy their daily shopping with even greater value and convenience than ever before.

Shimachu T-Point Service Overview

■ Participating stores and services: All 59 Shimachu and Holmes stores
■T-point award rate: 1 point awarded for every 200 yen (excluding tax)
■T Point usage rate: 1 point can be used as 1 yen
