Culture Entertainment Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Nakanishi Kazuo), a CCC Group company engaged in entertainment business such as planning and production of video, music, and publishing, and SBS Corporation (Head office: Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea; CEO: Park Jeong-hoon), the only private terrestrial broadcasting company with a nationwide network in South Korea and a multi-terrestrial broadcasting platform, are pleased to announce that they jointly established a new company on September 13th for the purpose of selling Korean dramas and other content in Japan.

[Background and purpose of establishing the new company]
　Although exports of Korean content are on the decline worldwide, the Korean wave fan base remains strong, and there is a greater need than ever for a stable supply of high-quality content.
　Against this backdrop, the new company will meet customer needs through the exclusive sale in Japan of Korean dramas and other content broadcast by SBS Corporation, a Korean broadcasting station, for which it holds the copyright.
　Additionally, by actively implementing promotions that utilize the CCC Group's platforms, including TSUTAYA stores, we aim to maximize customer value and ultimately expand and revitalize the Korean content market.
　The lineup of works will be announced as soon as it is decided.
