--A place where you can learn and experience a variety of things--The Takeo City Children's Library will open next to the Takeo City Library on October 1, 2017.--

The Takeo City Children's Library will be opening in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture (Mayor: Komatsu Masashi, hereafter referred to as "Takeo City") next to the Takeo City Library, which reopened on April 1, 2013. With a collection of approximately 20,000 books, mainly picture books, and through events and workshop programs themed around "six play experiences" such as thinking and playing, making and playing, and playing in Takeo and nature, Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki, hereinafter referred to as CCC) will provide a new place where children can have fun and learn 365 days a year.

<9 Features of Takeo City Children's Library>
1) Open 365 days a year from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
2) There are plenty of fun things for children to do all around the premises.
3) There is a space in the library where you can have a different reading experience. There are hammocks under the eaves of the Children's Library where parents and children can enjoy reading while looking out the window. The library has many areas where parents and children can enjoy picture books all day long, including "Picture Book Mountain," "Picture Book Mountain," and "Story Lab."
4) "From play to learning" - Think and play, make and play, play with food and life, play with Takeo and nature, talk
Play, play your imagination. Events themed around six play experiences will be held every day of the year.
5) Native English speaking staff will read to the children in English.
6) We provide support services that people raising children can easily consult with.
7) Kyushu Pancake Cafe, the second store in Kyushu, opens on the second floor. We offer desserts and savory pancakes made with a pancake mix made only with carefully selected ingredients from Kyushu.
8) Collaborate with the local community and allow citizens to become teachers. Using her specialties, she holds workshops for children.
9) There are 130 seats.

With the opening of the Children's Library, the appeal of Takeo City Library will continue to increase. We have made efforts to improve the issues that were frequently raised by citizens, such as "not enough parking spaces," "not enough reading seats," and "not enough study seats."
Parking space increased from 166 to 190 (an increase of 24 spaces)
Viewing seats: 263 seats → 357 seats (an increase of 94 seats)
Study seats: 48 seats → 96 seats (an increase of 48 seats)
