Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") has launched "T Fan" () a fan service specializing in lifestyle genres such as art, cars, and pets for the 64.03 million T Card users, which is one in two people in Japan. https://fan.tsite.jp/tfan/) was launched on October 5, 2017.

"T Fan" is a paid membership service that aims to propose new lifestyles by providing each T member with content that is of great interest to them. "T Fan" will deliver original content, services, and event information related to lifestyle genres, sell products and event tickets exclusive to users at special prices, and issue T cards with original designs.

tcard_rail.jpgThe first full-scale launch of "T Fan" is the "Rail Fan Club" for adult railway fans. If you register for the service on the "Rail Fan Club" website for a service fee of 3,000 yen, you will be issued a T-Card featuring the design of the D51 steam locomotive, affectionately known as "Degoichi," and will also receive unlimited access to the digital versions of back issues of railway magazines "Rail Magazine," "RM MODELS," and "JNR Jidai," published by Neko Publishing, a member of the CCC Group. We also plan to give away railway photo books and railway goods, as well as hold events exclusively for members of the "Rail Fan Club."

CCC will make maximum use of the group's resources and will also undertake new projects, events and promotions through database marketing that utilizes the "T Fan" service infrastructure, aiming to create new value that will excite and thrill T members.

・Application period at TSUTAYA stores nationwide: Thursday, October 5, 2017 to Wednesday, January 31, 2018
 *Stores accepting applications are listed on the "Rail Fan Club" website.
・Online registration period: Thursday, October 5, 2017 to Thursday, October 4, 2018
・Issued at the Railway Festival venue: Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th, 2017
 *Neko Publishing will have a booth.


(1) A T-card (steam locomotive D51 design) will be given to everyone.
A Rail Fan Club exclusive T-Card featuring an illustration of the D51 steam locomotive, known affectionately as Degoichi, will be issued free of charge to all registered members.

(2) Unlimited access to back issues of rare railway magazines in digital format
At the time of release, a total of 200 e-books will be available for unlimited reading, including particularly rare out-of-print issues of "Rail Magazine," "RM MODELS," and "Japan National Railways Era" from the very beginning.
*We will be adding more magazines on a regular basis.

(3) An original photo book, "Memories of the Showa Era: Railways," will be given to everyone.
The Railway Magazine Editorial Department at Neko Publishing, which edits many railway magazines, has pooled its efforts to select railway vehicles that represent each era during the Japan National Railways era. We will give you an original photo book filled with beautiful photographs that will be the envy of any adult railway fan.

(4) EF53 travel tote bag gift for everyone
The EF53 type was born in 1932 (Showa 7) and became the basis for the Japanese National Railways electric locomotives. We will be giving away a polyester travel tote bag to commemorate the 85th anniversary of its creation. The top is a drawstring bag that can hold items up to A4 size, making it versatile for a variety of travel situations.

We will be planning to sell items exclusively available to registered members online, as well as organise elaborate events and railway tours.
