"Good Shopping Day" Executive Committee

The "Good Shopping Day" Executive Committee, comprised of 94 companies (*1) (192 brands) from various sectors including retailers, e-commerce businesses, and food service providers, will launch the "Good Shopping Day" campaign, one of Japan's largest shopping festivals, starting October 17, 2017 (Tuesday). This campaign will transcend corporate boundaries and feature large-scale sales and other promotions at various stores and services both online and offline.
Additionally, a TV commercial featuring talent Ruriko Kojima, titled "Good Shopping Day: Lottery Edition," will begin airing on Tuesday, October 17th, to promote the appeal of "Good Shopping Day."

■ About "Good Shopping Day"
In October 2015, five companies—Yahoo! Japan Corporation, SoftBank Corp., T-Point Japan Co., Ltd., TSUTAYA Co., Ltd., and FamilyMart Co., Ltd.—joined forces to designate November 11th as "Good Shopping Day" with the aim of allowing customers to experience the joy of "making a good purchase!" and to share that enjoyment of shopping with even more people.
The "Good Shopping Day" Executive Committee aims to create a situation where the joy of "good shopping" overflows throughout Japan, both online and offline, by holding large-scale sales and cross-company campaigns during the period, and to contribute to improving domestic consumer confidence.

■This year's "Good Shopping Day" will see a significant increase in scale from 39 companies last year to a record-breaking 94 companies participating.
In its first year (2015), it started with 5 companies, and last year (2016), 39 companies (78 brands) participated, bringing "Good Shopping Day" to people all over Japan.
Now in its third year, this event has expanded significantly, with 94 companies (192 brands) participating. Under the keyword "great shopping," customers can find what they're looking for by purchasing a wide variety of items at great prices. The event will feature large-scale sales and campaigns from participating companies, including a T-point reward campaign.
Also, the "Amazing!! Speed Lottery," which was very popular last year, has been prepared again this year as the "Good Shopping Day Lottery."As part of the "Cross-Company Campaign," simply visiting the "Good Shopping Day Lottery Page," regardless of whether you make a purchase, will give you a chance to win a lottery ticket with no losing tickets. The prizes, totaling approximately 300 million yen, will change daily and include "10 million T-points" and a "Mercedes-Benz CLA180 AMG Style."We want to create a system that everyone can enjoy and help boost the concept of "good shopping" in Japan.
