Voting for the Mainichi Film Awards "TSUTAYA x Filmarks Movie Fan Award 2017" has begun!

TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA") will be accepting votes for the "TSUTAYA x Filmarks Movie Fan Awards 2017," a Mainichi Film Contest in which movie fans choose the film they found most "moving" and "interesting" from among the films released in Japan in 2017, to determine the No. 1 film. This award will be held from 10:00 AM on Friday, November 10, 2017, until 11:59 PM on Monday, December 25, 2017.

100 people will be randomly selected from those who post reviews (vote) on Filmarks via the "TSUTAYA x Filmarks Movie Fan Awards 2017" special website and will be awarded 1,000 T-Points. *For details on how to vote, please refer to the special website below.

The "TSUTAYA x Filmarks Movie Fan Awards 2017" was organized by TSUTAYA, which delivers a wide range of films to movie fans, and Filmarks, one of Japan's largest film review services. It is the only award decided by public vote within the "Mainichi Film Awards," a prestigious and historic event in the Japanese film industry, and awards the top Japanese and foreign films.

Through the "TSUTAYA x Filmarks Movie Fan Award," TSUTAYA and Filmarks aim to communicate the voices of movie-loving fans to filmmakers and to propose works that will allow customers to discover great films.
