The final public judging session for the T-VENTURE PROGRAM (TVP), a collaborative program for venture companies run by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki, hereinafter referred to as "CCC"), was held at Shibuya Garden Tower on Tuesday, December 5th.

Seven companies from the many startup companies offering services in the lifestyle field took to the stage for the final judging session. After rigorous judging, no company was awarded the CCC Award, and two services were selected for the Excellence Award: SPACER, a simple locker operated by SPACER Inc. that can be unlocked and locked with a smartphone and used for delivering and receiving luggage; and Blabo!, a co-creation marketing platform operated by Blabo Inc. In addition, a special award, the "Tsutaya Electrics Award," was quickly established, and the winner was SUPERFLEX, INC.'s "Powered Clothing," which helps elderly people stand and walk.

"For a month, we received support from many people, including our mentors at TSUTAYA, and while we were creating the presentation structure, we felt drained by the realization that what we wanted to communicate and what we needed to communicate to everyone were so different, but now we are filled with gratitude. Ultimately, we want to work hard until even ordinary people who don't understand IT can find our service useful."

"We were able to co-create with the CCC Group until the very end of this month. Our service is created together with our users, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the service. I think this award is just the beginning. From here on, we hope to create value for the world while working closely with the CCC Group."

"Thank you to everyone in the CCC group for giving me this opportunity, the secretariat, and all the mentors. We are currently working hard on developing our product, aiming to launch it in Japan within the next year. We would like to work alongside the CCC Group on this journey, anticipating and developing business opportunities."

Unfortunately, there were no winners of the CCC Award, but the 1 million T-Points that were planned to be awarded for the CCC Award were presented to each of the companies that won the Excellence Award. The three award-winning companies will gradually begin collaborating with each of the CCC Group's businesses to provide a wide range of services to enrich the diversifying lifestyles of our customers.

Through these efforts, the CCC Group will continue to strive to create customer value that is tailored to the diversifying lifestyles of its customers.

■General comments from the judging panel: Muneaki Masuda, President and CEO of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.
"When starting something new, we all see big futures, but we are faced with small realities and big criticisms. Although humans seem to see with their eyes and hear with their ears, they actually see and hear with their brains. In other words, I believe that anything that matches my past experiences and thoughts is good. That's why new things and new ideas are hard for people to understand. However, we want to make the world a more interesting place with the new platforms, databases, and great content that will be born from the T-VENTURE PROGRAM. And we want to be a group that continues to create such "new projects.""
