- For the first time in 12 years, the only LPGA Tour event will be held in Osaka! -

T Point Japan Co., Ltd., Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., and CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. have been holding the T Point Ladies Golf Tournament, a women's professional golf tour officially recognized by the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Japan (LPGA), since 2010. The tour will be held for three days from Friday, March 16th to Sunday, March 18th, 2018, at Ibaraki International Golf Club (Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture), a new venue for the women's professional golf tour, moving from its previous location in Kagoshima Prefecture to Osaka for the first time in 12 years.

Osaka is the birthplace of TSUTAYA, the rental membership card company that was the predecessor of T-Card, and is the region with the deepest ties to T-Points. Ibaraki City, where the T-Point Ladies Tournament will be held this year, is also a place with a close connection to golf, as exemplified by the lyrics of the Ibaraki City song, "The golf hills are also deep green."This will be the first time in 12 years that the only LPGA-sanctioned tour will be held in Ibaraki, Osaka.

Ibaraki International Golf Club, where this tournament will be held, opened in 1960 as the 10th golf course in Osaka Prefecture, and has built a history as a highly strategic course consisting of 27 holes across three courses (East, West, and North) that retain the natural undulations. In November 2016, the clubhouse, which was based on the main concept of "Sky House - a space where you can enjoy nature in the best location in the city center," was reborn as a state-of-the-art building with a grand panoramic view of Osaka city. At the T-Point Ladies Tournament, 18 of the 27 holes on the East, West and North sides will be rearranged into a tournament course to allow players and spectators to experience the thrill of a strategically-focused course.

This tournament will not only be broadcast over the internet, but will also be broadcast live on TV (terrestrial and satellite), and will include viewer participation content that is only possible with live broadcasting, in order to convey the excitement and thrill that can only be experienced through live broadcasting. We will also be holding tournament viewing tours for elementary and junior high school students, and have set up a "kids' area" where children can watch the matches at their leisure, providing an environment where they can see the brilliant play of top professionals up close.

T Point Japan will be holding the T Point Ladies Tournament at Ibaraki International Golf Club, located close to Osaka city, and will take advantage of the convenience of an urban golf tournament to deliver the joy of golf and the essence of sports - moving people's hearts. We aim to create a tournament that will provide an unforgettable experience for the spectators attending and the athletes putting on their best performances.

(1) The qualifying round will consist of a total of 36 holes on the first and second days, and the top 50 players will be eligible to compete in the final round.
(2) If a tie occurs for first place after 54 holes, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held at a hole designated by the tournament committee on that day to determine the winner.
