[Gonzales Maruyama]
Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1977. Graduated from Kokugakuin University Graduate School. Journalist and joint researcher at the Kokugakuin University Academic Resources Center. After writing his debut work, "A Blasphemous Journey in Asia," under the pen name Maruyama Gonzales, he switched genres, feeling that being an underworld writer seemed more fun than being a travel writer. He currently appears on the TBS program "Crazy Journey" and also works as a journalist in dangerous areas.
[Arashi Yoichi]
Travel writer and author of numerous books, including the Overseas Black Roads series. His most recent book is "I've Visited Unrecognized Countries" (Saitosha), and since 2010 he has been sharing information about overseas countries on the popular "Overseas Black Road Podcast" with Maruyama Gonzales. My philosophy is "If it's not fun, it's not life."
[Wada Insect Elephant]
Born in 1980. A freelance writer and handyman with a NEET-like personality who prefers sleeping in to eating three meals a day. In recent years, his hobby has been traveling, finding cheap tickets and going on trips, mainly to Asia. His major works include "Tough Job" and "My Journey: 518 Days of Forced Wandering Across Japan" (both published by Tetsujinsha). We are always looking for interesting information, mysterious inside stories, and more.
