TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director, President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo / hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) will begin selling a total of nine items from the "Tamao" series from its new "cat" goods brand "Necott Store" as a private line of TSUTAYA stationery goods at 27 "TSUTAYA" and "Kusamura BOOKS" stores nationwide from Thursday, February 22nd, "Cat Day."

Every year on February 22nd, cats are becoming increasingly popular, with many media outlets featuring them as "Cat Day."Additionally, since 2015, TSUTAYA has been offering a sales area featuring cat-themed goods, beloved by many, in conjunction with cat books and magazines aimed at women in their 30s and 40s.
Taking into account the recent cat boom and the sales record at TSUTAYA, the company will be introducing the "Tamao" series of "Necott Store," an original miscellaneous goods exclusive to TSUTAYA, from Thursday, February 22nd, targeting women in their 30s and 40s, strengthening its offerings of even more appealing miscellaneous goods.
In March 2019, we will add "Necott Store" to our private stationery and miscellaneous goods brands "HEDERA" and "Lelierre", which were launched in November 2017, and aim to introduce them to 500 stores nationwide, including "TSUTAYA" and "KUSAMURA BOOK", creating opportunities for people to encounter "things" that will make their daily lives more enjoyable by having them nearby.

Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College, Department of Arts. Graduated from the Dress Design Department of Kuwasawa Design School. Worked as a designer for an apparel manufacturer. KOZACLA started in 2014. It features fun, slightly surreal characters with animal motifs.
He has a long track record as a designer of miscellaneous goods, which have been sold at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, Shibuya Hikarie, and other locations.
