(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo; hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), with the results of the 2018 (90th) Academy Awards just around the corner (March 5, 2018, Japan time), will be announcing a rental ranking of classic films that have won the Academy Award for Best Picture from 1989 to 2017, based on data from TSUTAYA users. *Rankings of all 89 works up to 2017 are published on the special feature page.

*The update to the 2018 version is scheduled for around Monday, February 26th.

*This calculation is based on cumulative rental sales up to December 2017, covering films up to the 2017 (89th) Academy Awards Best Picture winner.
