Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics, operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as CCC), will be undergoing a refurbishment and reopening on March 10, 2018.

Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics opened in May 2015 with the aim of being an electronics store that offers lifestyle suggestions. Focusing on "living" among the three necessities of life, food, clothing and shelter, the mall offers a wide range of tenants, including restaurants, botanical shops and home appliances that make your home and daily life more convenient and enjoyable, as well as books and miscellaneous goods that enrich your life.

Now three years after opening, we have decided to renovate the store in order to further strengthen our ability to offer suggestions for housing and lifestyles.

The new facility will house "RELIFE STUDIO FUTAKO," a community studio run by Panasonic that will provide lifestyle tips and the latest housing information. The facility will also feature "Bornelund," a retailer of educational toys and childcare products from around the world, and a children's book floor and play area, creating a family-friendly environment. We will also be expanding our selection of work style-related books to meet the expectations of the many knowledge workers who visit our store.

Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics will continue to pursue the comfort that only a physical store can provide, and will continue to offer suggestions that will make life more enjoyable from both the cultural and technological perspectives.

Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics Renewal Points

1. "RELIFE STUDIO FUTAKO" has been launched, where you can gain new insights into your ideal home and lifestyle.
A new Panasonic Community Studio will be established, introducing the latest home appliances and home improvement equipment, as well as providing information on renovations, and bringing fresh color to people's lives through events and workshops.

2. Bornelund and the picture book and children's book section have been combined. There is also a play area for children.
Bornelund, which enriches parenting life by providing educational toys from around the world, and the picture book and children's book section are all in one place, and the play area has also been expanded. This area is filled with natural light, allowing parents and children to enjoy time together.

3. Expanding the range of books that offer work style suggestions.
We have significantly increased the number of books on business and work styles, which were highly requested by knowledge workers working in Futako Tamagawa. We have a wide selection of books on IT, marketing, new ways of working, and liberal arts that will be useful in your work.

4. The food floor has been significantly expanded, and there are now a variety of hands-on events.
Kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, and food-related books have been moved to the first floor, and a large kitchen has been set up. We will be holding more and more diverse food events, which have been well received.

5. The beauty salon "Cu by uka" and the beauty appliance sales area will be connected to aim for a synergistic effect of beauty.
"Cu by uka," where you can receive professional maintenance services such as hair coloring and nails, is connected to the home appliance section for self-beauty, offering comprehensive beauty suggestions.
