"Home Sharing: Changing Cities - Thinking about Japan's Future with a University of Tokyo Professor" aims to propose an unprecedented form of regional revitalization by utilizing idle assets in a way that meets the needs of each region, from major cities to rural areas, by introducing a new sharing business and communication service called "home sharing" to various regions across Japan, as the need for home sharing is expected to expand further in the future due to the increase in foreign tourists visiting Japan. TSUTAYA BOOK APARTMENT (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), Umeda TSUTAYA BOOKS (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), and Ropponmatsu TSUTAYA BOOKS (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), which are located in areas frequently visited by foreign tourists visiting Japan, are offering a check-in service for Airbnb guests for a limited time from February 15 to March 31, 2018. The check-in service not only involves handing over keys to the host, recording the reservation in a ledger, and explaining house rules, but also providing a welcome drink, a travel guide map, and luggage storage at the store, and has been used by many guests to date.

Providing content creation support services for Airbnb hosts

We provide content creation support services to Airbnb hosts to make the listings they rent out to guests more attractive. This service utilizes the network of photographers owned by PhotoCreate Inc., a CCC Group company, and will be developed in collaboration with the "one-stop service" provided by AirTripStay Inc.

Airbnb information portal site "Airbnb Navi"

In May 2016, CCC and Airbnb Japan launched the Airbnb information portal site "Airbnb Navi" was launched. The site is packed with content, including stories of guests and hosts using Airbnb, interviews with companies promoting home sharing, and explanations of new laws by lawyers, and is well-received by many viewers.

CCC will continue to work with Airbnb Japan to promote "Japanese-style home sharing" and revitalize local economies by spreading diverse lifestyles across the country.
