--Children's works will be unveiled again this summer--

T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura) has been running the T-CARD Social Value Creation Project since 2016, which utilizes T-CARD assets to solve social issues facing local communities and implement initiatives that lead to regional coexistence. T-CARD Everyone's Social Project "We are working on this.

We are pleased to announce that the "Reborn-Art Festival x T-CARD," which is being implemented as part of the "T-CARD Everyone's Social Project," will once again be hosting art production activities planned by children in Ishinomaki in 2018.

The "Reborn-Art Festival x T-CARD" is an initiative that brings together adults and children to participate in the "Reborn-Art Festival" (hereinafter "RAF"), a festival of art, music, and food. The children take the lead in creating artworks that are rooted in the local community and will serve as a source of regional revitalization for Ishinomaki in the future.

In 2018, the RAF will be holding a series of events in Ishinomaki over the summer for a total of approximately 10 days. As part of the "Reborn-Art Festival x T-CARD" project, we will continue to work with Ishinomaki City to hold art-making activities by children in Ishinomaki, in conjunction with the summer event, as we did last year. Starting on March 13th, we will be inviting children in Ishinomaki to participate in the project, with planning workshops to be held in April and production workshops to be held over the summer. The results of the workshop will be showcased at an RAF event this summer.

The costs of the art production will be covered by T members who will contribute a portion of the T-CARD issuance fee and half of the T-POINT earned by using the social contribution T-CARD, which has been issued since July last year. In addition, T Point Japan will take the lead in implementing various charity projects.

T Point Japan aims to make T-POINT and T-CARD "cultural infrastructure that connects people, and people and society," and will continue to work to create new social value.

■What is the "Reborn-Art Festival"?
This is a new comprehensive arts festival that takes place mainly in the Ishinomaki and Oshika areas, where you can enjoy art, music, and food. The Ishinomaki/Oshika area was one of the areas that suffered major damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake. The aim is for this venue to be a place where contemporary artists from Japan and abroad can visit and create works while interacting with the local community, where famous chefs from all over Japan can encounter local people and ingredients, where they can enjoy food that can only be tasted here, and where various styles of music events can be held, creating a place where various "encounters" can be created.
