TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo / hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) will begin streaming the original work "Untouchable Shibata's Little Love Stories About Animals" on "TSUTAYA TV," a video streaming service operated by TSUTAYA, from midnight on Wednesday, April 11th.

The Encyclopedia of Unfortunate Creatures has become a huge hit, selling over 1.2 million copies, and children's books that teach about animal ecology and can be enjoyed by both children and adults are attracting attention.
This is an educational animal program for children, in which Untouchable Shibata, who is extremely knowledgeable about animal ecology and has even published an animal encyclopedia, draws lessons for human survival from the ecology and evolutionary history of animals.
The program will tour Tobu Zoo with children, and as they encounter the animal that is the theme of each episode, they will provide easy-to-understand and entertaining explanations about the animal, and will also answer simple questions from children, such as, "Why do elephants have big ears?"

Each episode is about 15 minutes long and is easy to watch, but even adults will find that it introduces new animal facts in a humorous way, making it the perfect content for parents and children to watch together and spark an interest in animals.

At the end of each program, we introduce recommended books about animals, which you can pick up at your local TSUTAYA. It's the perfect introduction to learning about animals and living things, and it's packed with entertaining content.

The theme of the first episode is lions, which are very popular among children. The lesson begins with the question, "Aren't lions the king of beasts?" and then goes on to explain the latest evolution of lions, have everyone smell lion dung and make a fuss, and learn about lion ecology.
