"Careco Car Sharing Club" starts T-Point service from July 10th

Mitsui Fudosan Realty Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yamashiro Hirohiko; hereinafter referred to as "Mitsui Fudosan Realty") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kitamura Kazuhiko; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") are pleased to announce that they will launch a T Point service on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, for Careco Car Sharing Club (hereinafter referred to as "Careco"), a car sharing service operated by Mitsui Fudosan Realty. This is the first time that a T-Point service has been introduced in the car sharing industry.

Careco operates 2,966 vehicles* primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area and Kansai region, and provides a car sharing service that can be easily accessed via the Internet 24 hours a day by 82,000 members*. The company mainly stores its vehicles in Mitsui Repark, a pay-by-the-hour parking lot operated by Mitsui Fudosan Realty, and offers a wide variety of vehicle models, including not only compact cars but also SUVs, minivans, imported cars, and even camper vans. In addition, we are proactively introducing safety support equipment such as automatic braking and rearview monitors to ensure safe use.

With the launch of this service, individual Careco members who are registered as T-Card members will be able to earn 1 T-Point for every 200 yen (tax included) spent on Careco. The accumulated T Points can be used at affiliated stores nationwide where T Points can be used, with 1 point equaling 1 yen. In the future, Careco is considering allowing T Points to be used at the time of payment.

Mitsui Fudosan Realty introduced the T Point service in order to raise awareness of Careco among T members and to allow existing Careco individual members to enjoy car sharing at a more advantageous price.

Mitsui Fudosan Realty and T Point Japan will continue to propose a more fun and smart lifestyle through the T Point service at the Careco Car Sharing Club.
