-Supporting young racing drivers who will lead the future-
T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kitamura Kazuhiko) has signed a sponsorship contract with professional racing driver Juju (Noda Jujun).
Juju decided to become a professional racing driver at the age of five under the guidance of his father, Hideki Noda (a former F1 racing driver). In his debut race for the U17 team in April 2017, he won as an F4 professional racing driver at the age of 11, reaching a speed of 240 km/h. She has also driven at the Suzuka Circuit as the youngest F4 driver, and is a notable athlete who is expected to become a globally active female racing driver in the future.
T-Point Japan is working on "Car Life Proposals," proposing a lifestyle of enjoying cars, including the joy of driving, the joy of learning, the joy of seeing, and the fun of collecting. We sympathize with Juju, a young racing driver who will be the future of the future, and have decided to support her in Formula One.
■Comment from Juju
T-Point Japan has sympathized with my challenge to achieve my dream and has decided to support me. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to T Point Japan. I have been supported by many people up until now to become who I am today, but I am still only at the beginning of my dream. Becoming a driver who can compete for the championship in F1 or Formula E is a huge goal that I cannot achieve alone.
As we continue to take steps forward with a spirit of never giving up, no matter how many times we lose, the support of the T-Point Group companies will be a great help to us.
The reality is that there have only been five female F1 drivers since 1950, and I understand that this means that I will face a huge obstacle in the future. However, I still want to become the first Asian female F1 and Formula E driver, and not only that, I want as many people as possible to join me in chasing my dream of winning the championship.
I would also be happy if this challenge will inspire the children who follow in my footsteps.
