Nagoya Minato Tsutaya Bookstore, which offers lifestyle suggestions for families, will open at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Nagoya Minato Aquls on September 28, 2018.

Nagoya Minato Tsutaya Bookstore, operated by CCC Business Partners Co., Ltd., a group company of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda), is focusing on the theme of "WITH FAMILY" and is particularly enhancing the three categories of "Outings," "Childcare (Kids)," and "Cars," to offer ideas for spending time with the family and "things" to enjoy together.

Located as a separate building of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Nagoya Minato Aquls, facing the lush green "Welcome Approach," the large glass windows allow you to relax and enjoy a good book with a cup of coffee in hand. The terrace seats are also equipped with lead hooks, so you can enjoy your time with your beloved dog, who is a member of your family.

In addition, connected to the bookstore section are 12 unique specialty stores, including restaurants and general stores, and we aim to provide a place where couples in the prime age (around the baby boomer generation) and families with children can find something they like and share a fun time together.

The children's book section has 10,000 titles, mainly picture books, and a kids' space where children can enjoy reading books. There will also be events for kids, such as story time. The fair (limited time only) is a collaboration with "Märchen House," Japan's first children's book store, which sadly closed in March this year, and features children's books recommended by the store.

3. A car corner unique to Nagoya, where car culture is highly developed.
The car corner is the largest in Japan, with 10,000 car-related books, including rare old books and car model catalogs. We also have a BIG BOOK of cars (60cm square, 15kg) that can only be purchased here in the world.

4. The entire store is a "BOOK & CAFE."
Tsutaya Bookstore has a "BOOK & CAFE" style throughout the store. The store has 150 seats where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a book. You can also relax and read books before purchasing them while sipping a Starbucks coffee. The chairs and tables are made using high-quality woodworking techniques from the Tokai region.

5. Enjoy your time with your dog on the terrace.
Lead hooks are available at the terrace seats on the first floor. Please come along with your beloved family dog and enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book.

6. Business hours are 8:00-22:00. From breakfast to relaxing after work.
It opens at 8:00am, so you can enjoy breakfast at Starbucks or the bakery cafe "adedge."We are open until 10:00pm so that you can drop by after work.

7. 12 specialty shops and 2 pop-up shops within the bookstore.
Twelve specialty shops, including cafes, restaurants, general merchandise stores and children's clothing stores, are seamlessly connected to the bookstore. There are also two pop-up shops so that you can always find something new.
