Comments from the final judges
・Minami Kaho (actress)
"I feel very happy to have had the opportunity to participate as a judge in the 4th TCP Final Judging. TCP is a dream venue for anyone aspiring to become a filmmaker, as winning an award directly leads to film production. You all thoroughly read the script that you poured all your energy into for TCP, and you all thoroughly listened to today's presentation. The judges then discussed the ideas and decided on the award winners. This year's winning work is one that I personally would love to see as a movie. Please do your best. "
・Muneaki Masuda (Chairman and CEO of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.)
"Thank you very much to everyone who came out today. Above all, I was moved by the mixed emotions expressed on the faces of the seven speakers.
Now that we live in a society where diverse lifestyles are possible, we are entering an era where individuals can live comfortably. We are entering an era where people will prefer films that solidify the specific images of people with a particular worldview, rather than films that everyone watches, and if such films were to come out, TSUTAYA would be even more fun.We started TCP four years ago with the idea that we could help individuals create such diverse films.
One of my favorite words is from a Zen teaching: "Everything is made by the mind alone."This teaching states that everything in the world is created by the mind. TCP was also created with the idea that if there was a system like this, it would be able to support artists, and for artists, it would allow them to work with us to realize the image in their mind of the kind of film they would like to make. TCP has a lot of potential in the future, so I would like to use it to give shape to what is in my mind. "

"You're Not Pregnant! (working title)" by Satsuki Okawa (director/scriptwriter/editor)
