- Ski resort introduces T-Point service and QR code payment -
Tokyu Land Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Okuma Ikuhito), Tokyu Resort Services Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kumazawa Motoyoshi), T-Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kitamura Kazuhiko), and Netstars Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Li Tsuyoshi) are pleased to announce that from November 23rd, they will be gradually rolling out services to improve customer convenience and revitalize local areas at seven ski resorts across the country operated by Tokyu Resort Services, with the aim of creating smart ski resorts.
T Point Japan will be the first to offer its common points service "T Point" and electronic money service "T Money" at ski resorts across the country. With the launch of this service, customers with T-Cards will be able to earn one T-Point for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent when purchasing lift tickets at any ski resort operated by Tokyu Resort Service by presenting their T-Card at the counter. Additionally, if you load cash onto your current T Card and use T Money, you can earn double T Points with just one card: shopping points and payment points. Tokyu Resort Services aims to provide optimal ski resort services through CRM (Customer Relationship Management) utilizing the T-Point database. T Point Japan will continue to propose a more fun and smart lifestyle through the points service at Tokyu Resort Service's ski resorts.
Netstars will be the first ski resort in Japan to offer its multi-payment platform, StarPay. Tokyu Resort Services will utilize the system of this service to introduce smartphone payment services for Chinese tourists, "WeChat Pay" (known as WeChat Pay in Chinese) and "Alipay" (known as Alipay in Chinese), thereby improving convenience for tourists visiting Japan from the Chinese region. In addition, for domestic users, the service will also support QR payment services such as "LINE Pay," promoting a cashless society and aiming to create a world where there is no need to carry cash inside ski resorts.
By promoting the use of IoT in the ski business, including the services mentioned above, Tokyu Land and Tokyu Resort Services aim to improve convenience for ski resort users, while also striving to create smart ski resorts where people can enjoy a more comfortable stay and revitalize the regions where ski resorts are located by accumulating and utilizing customer and purchasing data.
