- T-Point and ENEOS jointly create a golf tournament -
T-Point Japan Co., Ltd., Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., CCC Marketing Co., Ltd., and JXTG Energy Corporation will be holding the "T-Point x ENEOS Golf Tournament," a women's professional golf tour certified by the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Japan (LPGA), for three days from Friday, March 22nd to Sunday, March 24th, 2019, at Ibaraki International Golf Club (Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture).
The CCC Group has been holding the T-Point Ladies Golf Tournament since 2010, aiming to allow many people to experience the true essence of sports - its wonderful power to move people's hearts - and to propose a new lifestyle through sports.
JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy has operated a baseball team and a women's basketball team as part of its corporate sports activities for many years, and is actively promoting sports and nurturing the next generation in line with one of the Group's standards of conduct: "Contributing to the development of civil society."
CCC Group and JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy share a mutual passion for sports and their respective efforts, and have decided to jointly host a golf tournament. The tournament will be called the "T Point x ENEOS Golf Tournament," and the total prize money will be increased by 30 million yen to 100 million yen (18 million yen for the winner), making it even more impressive than before. This tournament will be broadcast live on both the internet and television. In addition, since professional golf tournaments allow participants to watch the players play from a closer distance, we will be planning events that will allow many spectators to experience the brilliant play of top professionals, as well as providing immersive content using social media such as Twitter and Instagram.
Through the passionate competition between players who will perform at their best, the CCC Group and JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy will deliver to everyone the joy of golf and the true essence of sports: moving people's hearts. (1) The qualifying round will consist of a total of 36 holes on the first and second days, and the top 50 players will be eligible to compete in the final round.
(2) If a tie occurs for first place after 54 holes, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held at a hole designated by the tournament committee on that day to determine the winner.
