-This year's theme is "Let's cast a spell on Ishinomaki"-
T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kitamura Kazuhiko) has been running the T Card social value creation project, "T Card Everyone's Social Project"*1, since 2016. As part of this initiative, we are pleased to announce that the "Reborn-Art Festival x T Card" will be held again this year.
"Reborn-Art Festival x T Card" is a continuation of the concept of the "Tohoku Support Project," which T Point Japan has been running since 2011 to support the smiles of children in Tohoku and create community spaces. Meanwhile, the "Reborn-Art Festival" (hereinafter "RAF") is a new comprehensive arts festival where people can enjoy "art," "music," and "food," which takes place mainly in the Ishinomaki and Oshika areas, areas that were severely damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake. T-Point and RAF share the same concept, and have been working together since 2017.
The "Reborn-Art Festival x T Card" will bring together not only adults but also children to participate in the "RAF," a festival of art, music, and food. The children will take the lead in creating artworks that will be rooted in the local community and serve as a source of regional revitalization for Ishinomaki in the future.
At the 2019 RAF, multiple curators, including artists, will work with a variety of artists in each location to create artworks while reflecting on the "touch of life." The theme of the "Reborn-Art Festival x T Card" will be "Let's cast a spell on Ishinomaki," and children will create art. On March 2nd, a planning workshop will be held to consider the framework for the artwork, such as "What kind of magic should we cast?", followed by a production workshop, with the aim of showcasing the artwork at RAF this summer. The children's art production will be facilitated by goen°, a creative group led by Chie Morimoto, who is famous for her artwork for artists such as Yumi Matsutoya and Mr.Children, and will be carried out with the cooperation of Ishinomaki City and the Ishinomaki City Children's Center "Ritsu"*2.
T Point Japan aims to make T Points and T Cards "cultural infrastructure that connects people, and people and society," and will continue to work to create new social value.

Based on the theme of "Dreams 100 Years from Now," the children came up with the words to use in the lyrics in advance, and together with Kondo Ryohei of the Condors, they came up with the fourth lyric and choreography inspired by the lyrics, and the piece was completed.
(A dream for 100 years from now)
We all drew it together
Ishinomaki in a hundred years
What kind of place is it?
Keep on dreaming
Deliver to the future, deliver to space
The world is at peace
I want to give flowers to someone
The future is where dreams take flight
Reborn Bonbon Art Bon
Her smile and tears are beautiful
Reborn! I stomped on it.
It's a festival at Reborn!
Reborn Bonbon Art Bon
A warm town filled with smiles
Reborn! Expand your horizons
Reborn!
■What is the "Reborn-Art Festival"?
This is a new comprehensive arts festival that takes place mainly in the Ishinomaki and Oshika areas, where you can enjoy art, music, and food. The Ishinomaki/Oshika area was one of the areas that suffered major damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake. The aim is for this venue to be a place where contemporary artists from Japan and abroad can visit and create works while interacting with the local community, where famous chefs from all over Japan can encounter local people and ingredients, where they can enjoy food that can only be tasted here, and where various styles of music events can be held, creating a place where various "encounters" can be created.
*1 T-Card's social value creation project utilizes 68.71 million T-members, 187 T-Point Alliance companies, and approximately 5 billion pieces of purchasing data provided by the T-Card to give back to society and contribute to consumers.
*2 This is a facility for children planned and designed by children participating in the Ishinomaki City Children's Urban Development Club. "This facility was created and is run primarily by children to revitalize Ishinomaki. A place where everyone can feel comfortable and where children can communicate their thoughts to the public. The facility is based on the concept of "a place where children can live together and enjoy themselves," and is operated by the Ishinomaki Children's Center Consortium as the designated manager.
