-The first partner store is scheduled to open in Tokyo this summer-

TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo / hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) has reached a basic agreement with Chang Yi International Industrial Co., Ltd. (Head office: Taipei City / Representative: Chen Kun-chi), which operates the Taiwanese tea brands "COMEBUY" and "COMEBUYTEA," regarding store expansion within Japan.

Since opening its first store in Taipei in 2002, COMEBUY has expanded to 11 countries (282 stores) overseas, including Taiwan, Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America, as a brand that allows customers to enjoy delicious Taiwanese tea casually in the city. They offer a wide variety of menu items, including the popular tapioca milk tea, which was ranked number one in Hong Kong's tapioca milk tea rankings (source: Hong Kong's Eat and Travel Weekly), as well as fruit teas and toppings, with over 500 combinations on the menu. Delicious Taiwanese tea, made with carefully selected high-quality tea leaves and fruit juice, is loved all over the world.

COMEBUYTEA was launched in 2009 as a premium, high-quality, flavorful Taiwanese tea brand, and is now available in five countries overseas (10 stores). After receiving an order, the tea leaves are crushed to a size appropriate for the tea type using a proprietary grinder, and fresh tea is extracted at high pressure in a short time using a proprietary espresso machine designed specifically for tea leaves. Our staff, who have received high-quality training to global standards, will serve you original drinks that are carefully crafted one by one, combining different types of tea with various juices and milk.

TSUTAYA has always offered lifestyle suggestions to customers through books and entertainment. Going forward, we will utilize the technology and know-how cultivated by Changyi International Industrial Co., Ltd. to create a store that serves as a comfortable community hub where customers can enjoy a relaxing time over delicious, authentic Taiwanese tea, fostering communication between people and creating new discoveries.

This summer, the first directly managed affiliated store is scheduled to open in Tokyo. After that, we plan to expand into franchising. Starting in the Tokyo metropolitan area and designated cities, the company plans to open 100 stores over the next five years, including combined stores with TSUTAYA and standalone stores, and is also looking to recruit new member companies.
