TSUTAYA Premium, a monthly flat-rate service provided by TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo / hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA"), has expanded its service from March to allow unlimited rental of older DVDs at multiple stores (※). *Some stores are not eligible. Please refer to the list of participating stores.

"TSUTAYA Premium" is a flat-rate service that starts at 1,000 yen (excluding tax) per month and allows you to rent as many old DVDs as you want from the store, and watch as many eligible titles as you want on the video streaming service. The unlimited video streaming service has expanded its lineup to approximately 13,000 titles, 1.5 times the number at the time of the service launch, with a focus on popular Japanese and foreign films, overseas TV dramas, and anime, as well as original works and Asian TV dramas exclusively available through TSUTAYA Premium.

We have now realized the highly requested feature from our customers: "unlimited rentals at multiple stores." Even if the title you want to watch is currently on loan, you can now rent older DVDs at any participating store that offers "TSUTAYA Premium" for the same monthly fee. 　You can enjoy "TSUTAYA Premium" even more conveniently within your daily life, such as at a store near your home, workplace, or school.

In addition, the app has been downloaded a total of 9.7 million times, and rental membership is now available on the TSUTAYA app, which allows you to receive discount coupons and search for the stock of titles you want to watch, read, or listen to. By entering the necessary information on the "TSUTAYA app," you will only need to verify your identity at the store (※), and your membership will be completed in about one minute, and you can now also complete the renewal procedure. *To verify your identity at the store, you will need to provide identification such as a driver's license.

TSUTAYA will continue to improve its services so that you can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment titles more conveniently and easily.
