"T Points" can now be exchanged for JR Kyushu points "JR Kyupo"!

Kyushu Railway Company (Head office: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toshihiko Aoyagi; hereinafter referred to as "JR Kyushu") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") are pleased to announce that from March 25, 2019, they will be launching a service that allows users to exchange "T Points," a common point system offered by T Point Japan, for "JR Kyupo," a JR Kyushu point system.

JR Kyushu and T Point Japan formed a business partnership in 2015 and have been providing a service that allows customers to exchange JR Kyupo (formerly e-Rail Points) for T Points. In response to customer needs, we have decided to launch a new service that allows customers to exchange T Points for JR Kyupo. This will allow JR Kyupo and T Points to be exchanged with each other.

Customers who use T Points can exchange their accumulated T Points for JR Kyupo by loading them onto their SUGOCA card. These points can then be used as electronic money for train rides at SUGOCA electronic money affiliated stores, and can also be exchanged for JR Kyushu Group gift certificates, meal vouchers, special products, and more.

Through this mutual point exchange service, JR Kyushu and T Point Japan will provide an even more convenient point service to everyone living in the Kyushu area.

■Service launch date: March 25, 2019
■Point exchange rate: 1 T-point = 1 JR Kyupo point
■Point exchange unit: 1 point for 500 points or more

*To exchange points, you must log in to the T site [T Points/T Card] using the Yahoo! JAPAN ID to which your T Card number is registered.
