-Nagasaki begins issuing its own regional IC card, the "NTAS T Card"-

T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") is pleased to announce that it will launch a new T Point service in the Nagasaki area from September 16, 2019, following a point program agreement concluded with NTAS Corporation in November 2017.

As of the end of June 2019, 630,000 people, or 46% of the prefecture's population, use T Cards in Nagasaki Prefecture, and the common points service "T Points" is offered at convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, electronics retailers, restaurants, gas stations, and other locations within the prefecture. Additionally, since June 2018, as part of T Card's social value creation project, "T Card Everyone's Social Project," we have been strengthening our collaboration with Nagasaki Prefecture, such as by developing products using fish from Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture as ingredients, based on T Card data and the T Member network.

We are pleased to announce the start of issuing the "NTAS T Card," a Nagasaki-specific regional IC card that combines NTAS Money (electronic money), T Card functions, and credit functions. Customers who have NTAS Money charged to their NTAS T Card can use the NTAS T Card on Nagasaki Bus, Saikai Kotsu, and affiliated taxis, and will earn T Points based on the amount of fare paid with NTAS Money. At NTAS Money affiliated stores in Nagasaki Prefecture, you can also earn T Points when paying with NTAS Money. Additionally, between September 16, 2019 and March 31, 2020, when using Nagasaki Bus and Saikai Kotsu and paying your fare with NTAS Money, you will earn 10 T Points for every 100 yen. In addition, this service that allows passengers to earn T-points on route buses will be the first of its kind in the country.
