TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Nakanishi Kazuo; hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA") is pleased to announce its 2019 annual ranking of video streaming titles (rental/unlimited streaming) based on data from users of its video streaming service "TSUTAYA TV."(Detailed rankings for each genre are available on the website. )

"Bohemian Rhapsody," which won four awards at the 91st Academy Awards, including Best Actor, and became one of the most representative films of 2019, has taken the top spot in the video streaming rental rankings. In addition, the top three were all movies that were popular in 2019, with Shoplifters in second place and Venom in third place.

The Grand Prix winner of the TSUTAYA CREATORS' PROGRAM 2015, "Woman Who Loves Lies," ranked first in the Japanese film rankings. Starring Masami Nagasawa and Issei Takahashi, this film depicts the fate of a career woman who is at the mercy of her boyfriend's big lie and was particularly popular among women in their 30s.
In the anime rankings, many works that are still loved by children even as the era changes from Heisei to Reiwa, such as "Pokémon," "Dragon Ball Z," and "Soreike! Anpanman," made it into the top 10.
In the Asian drama rankings, "Suspicious Partner: Destiny Lovers" came in first and "Temperature of Love" came in second, showing the popularity of the works that are pre-released on "TSUTAYA TV."
