TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) and its subsidiary, Tsutaya Taiwan Co., Ltd., will open their fifth store in Taiwan, the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Nangang Store, a lifestyle-oriented BOOK&CAFE that combines a bookstore and a cafe, in the CITY LINK Nangang Store, a commercial facility operated by their Taiwanese partner, the RUENTEX GROUP, on December 6, 2019.
Nangang Station, where the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Nangang store will open, is a bustling area where many IT companies are concentrated, and where three lines - the High Speed Rail, Taipei MRT, and Taiwan Railway - can be easily accessed. Furthermore, with the increase in new housing developments, new families in their 30s and 40s gather at the CITYLINK Nanko store on weekends and holidays, and the store is bustling with the sounds of many children.
Aimed at mothers and children in this new generation of families, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Nanko Branch will offer the largest selection of children's books in the region, based on the concept of being a "lifestyle bookstore that offers unique ways to spend time with your children."The first TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in Taiwan will have a kids' area, offering parents and children the chance to spend some relaxing time together with picture books.
In addition, BOOK & CAFE will open WIRED CHAYA, a Japanese-themed cafe created by Cafe Company Co., Ltd., as its second store following TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Neihu store. In addition, the store will also be operated in conjunction with the popular coffee chain LOUISA COFFEE, which will be opening its 483rd store in Taiwan.

The TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Nangang store is approximately 1,650 square meters in size, making it the largest TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE store in Taiwan. The store has the largest selection of children's books in the region, with approximately 7,000 titles, mostly selected by Japanese mothers living in Taiwan.
In addition, we offer a wide range of products for all generations, including "Beauty & Health" for mothers and "Business" for business people, as well as seniors and students, providing a space that the whole family can enjoy.
(2) LOUISA COFFEE, which will be opening its first "BOOK & CAFE" in collaboration with TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE
TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE has previously operated four "BOOK & CAFE" style stores in Taiwan, but this will be the first time that it will open a "BOOK & CAFE" store alongside "LOUISA COFFEE.""LOUISA COFFEE" is a beloved Taiwanese coffee chain with stores throughout the country, and this will be its 483rd store. Taiwanese customers can relax and enjoy a book while enjoying the familiar atmosphere.
(3) A selection of Japanese stationery, miscellaneous goods, and cosmetics, centered around TSUTAYA and Tsutaya Bookstore's private brand products.
The store stocks stationery and miscellaneous goods that are only available at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE, including products from TSUTAYA's private stationery brand "HEDERA" and private brand goods exclusive to TSUTAYA Bookstores, imported from Japan.
Additionally, "J47 Japan Selection Kyushu Cosmetics" is the first product to be released in Taiwan as part of the "J47 JAPAN BEAUTY" project, which aims to discover and support local cosmetics from all over Japan, focusing on the beauty and health categories.
(4) A tea specialty store that offers relaxation time even during busy days
The tea bag specialty store "Xiaosaku," which has two stores in Taiwan, will be opening as a tenant, for those who want to enjoy some relaxing time for themselves even amidst busy days with their families.
(5) POP UP featuring high-quality MADE IN TAIWAN goods
The pop-up store will offer a selection of high-quality MADE IN TAIWAN goods, including glass products from the brand "TG," which features a beautiful heat-resistant glass product series designed by designer Naoto Fukasawa that reflects his view of Taiwanese culture, and "iDrip," an AIoT coffee machine jointly developed by renowned Taiwanese serial entrepreneur Yeh Chien-han and 10 world-famous baristas, which has gained popularity and is also sold at Tsutaya Electrics in Futako Tamagawa.
