The concept of the newly opened Roppongi Tsutaya Bookstore is "Roppongi's foreign book store."There are many embassies and foreign companies in the neighborhood, and Roppongi Hills is visited by approximately 40 million people annually, including many foreign tourists (※). To suit this location, we have increased our selection of foreign books and magazines. We provide a source of inspiration for global thinkers who want to play, work, and live in Roppongi.
While retaining Tsutaya Bookstore's signature BOOK & CAFE style, where you can read books and magazines while sipping coffee before purchasing, we have now added a new BOOK & BAR-LOUNGE. You can enjoy reading while sipping on original cocktails with an art motif.
Tsutaya Bookstore aims to be more than just a commercial facility that sells books; it wants to be a place where you can truly get a feel for what you are looking for right now. You can use your physical senses to get a sense of what's happening in the world, what's popular, and where you are in it. Chance encounters lead to discoveries and surprises. We will create Tsutaya Bookstore as a place where such experiences can be had and where lifestyle suggestions are offered.

2. Enjoy BOOK & CAFE
TSUTAYA in Roppongi was a pioneer of book and cafes in Japan. This style of allowing customers to enjoy reading books before purchasing them and enjoying a Starbucks coffee, and discovering new books, will continue even after the renovation. In addition, we will increase the number of cafe seats, mainly terrace seats. Relax with a cup of coffee and a good book.
3. Enjoy the BOOK & BAR-LOUNGE
This time, in addition to BOOK & CAFE, we will be opening a new BOOK & BAR-LOUNGE. You can also read books and magazines before purchasing them in "The Lounge" on the second floor. Enjoy a variety of cocktails inspired by artworks, created by a collaboration between Yang Se-ju, who was selected as one of the World's Best Sommeliers in 2017, and Oba Fumitake, who has won the Chivas Regal MIZUNARA Masters Cocktail Competition and continues to offer new cocktails, such as those that combine Japanese tea with Western and Japanese alcoholic beverages.
