T-POINT Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and COO: Kazuhiko Kitamura), a member of the Culture Convenience Club (CCC) Group, and One More Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Numata Takehiko), which operates the crowdfunding site "GREEN FUNDING" in the CCC Group, have announced that they will be working with Cork Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Sadoshima Yohei), a creator agency, to launch "GREEN x T-POINT" (https://green-point.jp/projects) will be launching a project to support young manga artists affiliated with Cork from Monday, May 11, 2020.
This will allow the young manga artists carrying out the project to raise funds for their manga production activities by providing original illustrations drawn by each creator to those who support them using T-POINT.
What is point funding "GREEN x T-POINT"?
Point funding "GREEN x T-POINT" is a new form of crowdfunding that allows you to use your accumulated T-POINT to support your favorite artists and creators (initiators). The beta version was released in October 2019, and currently features two projects: the idol group "=LOVE" and the anime character "Tohoku Zunko," and has received a total of over 1 million points in support.
Supporters can support their favorite projects with T-POINT every day. If you support us with T-POINT, you will be awarded "sTone", and once you have accumulated 10 of them you can win a "gacha". By drawing the gacha, you can receive digital content such as original illustrations by the creator as a reward. In addition, the number of points sent by supporters will be published in ranking form the next day, allowing you to enjoy comparing the number of support points sent by other supporters. Project initiators will receive a cash back of 60% of the points they receive, allowing them to raise funds for their activities while providing their own works to fans as digital content.
Background to the project launch
Many young creators take on part-time jobs or use crowdfunding to earn funds for their activities. However, there was a problem that time was being spent on part-time jobs unrelated to creative activities, and on producing and shipping original products as rewards for crowdfunding, which reduced the time that could be spent on actual creative activities.
We have launched a new crowdfunding/point funding service called "GREEN x T-POINT," which offers original digital content as a reward, in the hope that it will provide young creators with both funding and production time, as well as a new marketing tool for the entertainment content industry as a whole.
In the entertainment industry, due to the recent impact of event cancellations, it is expected that young artists and creators will need to secure new sources of revenue.
Through "GREEN x T-POINT," T-POINT Japan and One More hope to provide the experience of "accumulating points to support someone."
Overview of the project
The project was initiated by young manga creators affiliated with Cork: Holipoo, Yajima Kenji, Yokose, and Tsukimoto Chikage.

[Comment from Yohei Sadoshima, CEO of Cork Co., Ltd.]
My current focus is on creating hit works together with manga artists I meet on social media, building fan communities for each artist, and creating a space where artists can continue to draw the stories they truly want to draw.
I hope that everyone who comes into contact with the work through this collaboration will support the creators who are pioneering a new era.

This is a creator agency that represents artists such as Koyama Chuya of "Space Brothers," Mita Norifusa of "Dragon Zakura," Anno Moyoco of "Working Man," Akutagawa Prize-winning author Hirano Keiichiro, and Haga Shoichi of "Manga Kimitachi wa Dou Ikiru ka."
