-A co-creation space where young people who will lead the future can think, discuss, and take action on politics and society-

CCC Marketing Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiko Kitamura), a member of the Culture Convenience Club (CCC) Group, has launched the "School General Election," a social project that connects the junior and senior high school generation, who will be responsible for the future, with politics and society. Ahead of the full-scale launch this fall, the project will begin on June 16, 2020, using Twitter, which aggregates and votes on topics familiar to junior and senior high school students and young people, and note, which will publish voting results and the thoughts of junior and senior high school students in article format.

CCC was founded in 1983 with the aim of "providing a base for providing young people with information on new lifestyles." As a lifestyle proposal company, CCC has expanded its "TSUTAYA" network, a place where people can imagine and choose their own lifestyles based on information on movies, music, and books, while becoming rooted in local communities all over Japan.

The newly launched "School General Election" service is a place where young people who will be responsible for the future can co-create new discoveries and ideas that will serve as the foundation for living in the future, with CCC's founding intention as its identity. The project is positioned as a social project that creates opportunities for junior and senior high school students to make politics and society their own, pose questions and deepen discussions, and encourage them to accept diversity while maintaining their individuality even in a highly competitive international society. The project is scheduled to be launched on a website this fall and will begin full-scale deployment.

Through the School General Election, CCC Marketing aims to foster "global citizenship" among young people, enabling them to proactively engage in tackling social issues, make decisions, and take action, leading to the achievement of SDG Goal 4, "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all." The company will continue to work to create new social value, aiming to become a presence that "connects people and society."
