"Nosweb.jp" is an online media site that utilizes the unique planning and reporting capabilities of Geibunsha's magazine "NostalgicHero," which has been a leader in Japan's classic car industry for 30 years, to deliver unique classic car articles with beautiful photos and compelling writing never before seen in online media, as well as the timeless appeal of classic cars and the stories of their owners.
Nosweb.jp introduced CEMP, a magazine web media support service provided by CE, in September 2019, and has seen a sharp increase in both page views and unique users. CEMP, which packages the creation, operation, and monetization of web media, allowed the editorial department to focus on producing high-quality articles, and as a result, the web media quickly grew into one that is visited by many classic car fans.
What is "Nosweb.jp"?
"Nosweb.jp (Nosweb.jp): https://nosweb.jp" is a web magazine launched in September 2019.
Classic car comprehensive web magazine
This is a comprehensive classic car online magazine that is based on three magazines: "NostalgicHero," which was first published in 1986 and has been a leader in the classic car industry for over 30 years; "Hachimaru Hero," which specializes in neo-classic/young-timer cars from the 1980s onwards; and "NostalgicSPEED," a magazine specializing in customization and tuning for enjoying cars from those eras in a more unique way. That site is "Nosweb.jp (Nosweb dot JP)".
Rather than simply introducing cars, we will explore the history and background of the cars' creation, and unravel the automotive culture that connects the past to the present. And rather than just looking back at the history, we will carefully follow the story of the current owner and the car, depicting a story unique to that person and that car.
We offer a wide range of suggestions, including watches, hobbies, music, and travel.
We offer a wide range of products for classic car enthusiasts and car-conscious readers, from vintage watches, model cars, and fashion goods to culture such as travel, music, and books.
Collaboration with real events and used car sites specializing in classic cars
It is linked to the classic motor show "Nostalgic 2days" (organized by Geibunsha Co., Ltd.), which is held at Pacifico Yokohama every February, and the used car information site "Specially Selected Classic Car Information," which specializes in classic cars. From developments that take advantage of real-life events to used car information, we will propose a variety of "experiences" through the combination of online media, magazine media, and real-life events to support users' car lifestyles.
The majority of our readers are classic car enthusiasts and car-conscious users.
About half of our readers actually own classic cars made up to 1979 or neo-classic cars made between 1980 and 1999, while 30% own cars made after 2000 or current models. 20% of people do not own one. What they all have in common is that they love classic cars and have a strong passion for cars.
In fact, most people who own classic cars either own the current model or multiple models, including a newer model (this was a single answer in the survey). Both these owners and owners who drive current cars (but love classic cars) are particular about the cars they choose, even when it comes to current cars.
Nosweb.jp will focus on offering heritage proposals that connect current and classic cars to car-conscious users who have a strong opinion on choosing current cars. *The reader demographic survey results are from NoatalgicHero magazine.
Please keep an eye on the web magazine "Nosweb.jp" as it continues to grow and accelerate.
A platform packed with know-how cultivated by CCC Group publishing companies
Currently, music culture magazine "Rolling Stone Japan," women's fashion magazines "GISELe" and "S Cawaii!", as well as "Animage Plus," "Entertainment NEXT," "octane.jp," "Classic Porsche," and "Nosweb.jp" use "CEMP."In order to allow more publishers to utilize the know-how we have cultivated through collaboration with CCC Group publishers, we began offering this service to publishers outside the CCC Group in June 2020.
Providing external distribution, advertising, and content management in a "one-package"
CEMP provides a one-package of external news distribution and revenue generation through digital advertising, both of which are essential for building a website and growing as a publishing media outlet, as well as the CMS (content management system) that supports them. In response to the current situation where it has become common to read articles on major portal sites, news sites, and news apps, we have a track record of distributing to over 23 external news outlets. We have a complete article distribution program (RSS) that is compatible with various companies, so after building your site, you can start distributing articles to various companies smoothly.
Group publishing companies that have introduced "CEMP" have accumulated know-how for increasing the number of unique users and page views by repeatedly conducting access analysis and hypothesis/verification. As a result, there are cases where 10 million page views* have been achieved within five months of introducing "CEMP," and 20 million page views* have been achieved within 15 months. (*)External distribution destinations are not included.
In addition, we will introduce programmatic advertising and video advertising from various SSP companies that provide support tools for selling advertising space and maximizing advertising revenue, and we will handle all digital advertising operations on your behalf, so you will be freed from having to understand specialized terminology or set up advertising tags, and will be able to quickly set up and monetize optimal advertising space. By providing digital content distribution, advertising services, and website construction in one package, publishers can focus on creating high-quality articles that reach their readers.
