- The "Yasusaki App" has been revamped, and "T" smartphone services will be gradually introduced! -
Yasusaki Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture; President and CEO: Masaharu Yasusaki; hereinafter referred to as "Yasusaki"), which operates food supermarkets and other businesses in the Hokuriku region, mainly in Fukui Prefecture, and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroaki Nagashima; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan"), will provide safe shopping services in the new normal era to customers who use Gourmetkan, Fashion Plaza, and Y Home.
As the first step, we have revamped our smartphone app, "Yasusaki App," adding features such as "Mobile T Card" and "Congestion Check Service by Time of Day."The "Mobile T Card" is a service that allows you to earn and use T Points by presenting the barcode screen displayed on your smartphone when paying, and allows you to use the same services as a T Card without contact. In addition, the "Time-of-Day Crowd Check Service" allows you to check the crowding situation at each Yasusaki Group store by hour and day of the week, allowing you to avoid busy times when shopping. To commemorate the app renewal, starting October 1, 2020, we will be running a campaign where 1,000 people who download the Yasusaki App will be entered into a lottery to win 200 T Points.
As a second step, the company will become the first grocery store to add the mobile ordering service "T Order" to the Yasusaki App, offering a service that allows customers to pre-order sushi, sashimi, hors d'oeuvres, and other items available at the Gourmet Hall in advance from their smartphones.
Additionally, we are considering introducing "T Money," an electronic money service that can be used by charging your Mobile T Card/T Card, and "T Receipt," an electronic receipt service, toward next spring. This will enable customers to shop seamlessly and safely by simply presenting their Mobile T Card once at the checkout.
As a "new normal" is required to coexist with COVID-19, Yasusaki and T Point Japan will utilize DX (digital transformation) through data and technology to create an environment where many customers can shop safely and enjoyably.
